St Helens' Jonny Lomax to retire at end of 2026 Super League season

St Helens half-back Jonny Lomax, 35, will retire at the end of the 2026 Super League season. Debuting in March 2009, he made 388 appearances for his hometown club, won five Grand Finals and earned 15 England and Great Britain caps. He has not played since fracturing his jaw against Warrington in June. St Helens sit seventh with three games left.
