CRKD's Explorer Guitar Controller Reaches 8,000Hz Polling Rate

CRKD's Gibson Explorer: 20th Anniversary Edition, a guitar controller for RedOctane Games' Stage Tour (launching December 10, 2026), hits an 8,000Hz polling rate in both wired and wireless modes. Polling rate is how often the controller reports its input to the system. The companion Les Paul and SG models top out at 1,000Hz wired and 500Hz wireless. All three feature Hall effect strum bars, mechanical frets, and modular necks. The Explorer ships mid-January at $130.
