Nishikori, Dimitrov and Andreescu forced through US Open qualifying

Former US Open finalist Kei Nishikori (2014), 2019 champion Bianca Andreescu and Grigor Dimitrov all won their opening US Open qualifying matches in New York on 25 August. Nishikori beat Sebastian Ofner 6-1 2-6 6-2; Andreescu dispatched Eva Vedder 6-1 6-2. Three qualifying rounds stand between them and the main draw, starting Sunday.
