Commodore 77: A Working C64 Revival, Not a Replica Shell

Commodore and CD Projekt Red's Commodore 77, available for pre-order at $377 on Commodore.net, is a fully functional Commodore 64. It uses the C64 Ultimate's FPGA core — a chip reconfigured to emulate original hardware — built with original injection mold tooling. It runs original software via HDMI output. An Arasaka-themed cartridge with a demoscene demo ships included. No release date is set.
