Game of Thrones: War for Westeros shows first gameplay at gamescom Opening Night Live

PlaySide Studios premiered the first gameplay trailer for Game of Thrones: War for Westeros at gamescom Opening Night Live on 25 August 2026. The real-time strategy game lets players command four factions — House Stark, House Lannister, House Targaryen and the White Walkers — with eight named heroes including Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen and the Night King. A Steam release is planned for early 2027, with a beta ahead of launch.
