Mon Laferte declares 'I am the pearl' in Rosalía's LUX Tour confessional in Mexico City

Mon Laferte joined Rosalía's 'confessional' segment at the Palacio de los Deportes on Aug. 24, 2026, the second of five LUX Tour nights in Mexico City. Laferte, on tour with her album 'Femme Fatale,' spoke about being deceived by ex-partners. She closed by declaring 'La Perla soy yo' — 'I am the pearl' — reclaiming the title of Rosalía's song, where a 'pearl' denotes an untrustworthy person. Rosalía told Laferte her only crime was dedicating 'songs that are way too good to men who are way too dumb.' Billboard and El Diario de Coahuila reported the appearance.
