Taiwan sets Wednesday deadline for Gwangju Biennale over pavilion name

Taiwan's culture ministry on 25 August gave the Gwangju Biennale Foundation until Wednesday to reinstate the "Taiwan Pavilion" name, after the foundation relabelled it "NTMoFA" and locked exhibitors out of the Asia Culture Center since 18 August. Thirty-eight artists and curators signed an open letter calling the rename censorship. The biennale opens 4 September.
