Gwangju Biennale artists demand restoration of "Taiwan Pavilion" name days before opening

Thirty-six Gwangju Biennale artists and curators — including 16 from the main exhibition — signed an open letter demanding the foundation restore the name "Taiwan Pavilion," Artnet reported. Taiwan's culture ministry has asked the foundation to respond by Wednesday.
