Boreham Wood reject record £1.5m bid for Abdulmalik

Boreham Wood have rejected a £1.5m offer from Djurgarden for forward Abdul Abdulmalik, per BBC Sport. The bid would have broken the £1m Leicester paid Fleetwood for Jamie Vardy in 2012 — the record fee for an England fifth-tier player. Abdulmalik, released by Millwall in 2024, wants to leave. Manager Luke Garrard said: "He is our player."
