Manchester United agree £70m deal for Brighton's Carlos Baleba

United have agreed a deal worth up to £70m for Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba — £65m guaranteed plus £5m in add-ons (ESPN, BBC Sport, Reuters, 21 August 2026). The 22-year-old, signed by Brighton from Lille for £23.2m in 2023, has 92 Premier League appearances. The fee is reportedly around £50m lower than a previously discussed price.
