Ashley Duong's hybrid documentary 'Ba's Book' world-premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival on 15 September, screening in the TIFF Docs programme. The Canadian production adapts Anh Duong's 2024 memoir 'Dear Da-Le' — rebuilding his childhood home in Vietnam as a three-walled set where family members and actors stage recreations.
