Dan Stevens cast as RoboCop in Prime Video's eight-episode series

Dan Stevens will play Alex Murphy — the fallen officer implanted into a police robot — in Prime Video's RoboCop series, Deadline reported on 25 August 2026. The eight-episode project, greenlit by Amazon MGM Studios in July 2026 after roughly two years in development, is written and showrun by Peter Ocko. No premiere date has been announced.
