Stalker Jailed After Eight Years of Evading Legal Orders

Philip Jerome, 49, received a 12-month sentence at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court after pleading guilty to breaching a stalking prevention order protecting actor Billie Piper four times. Over eight years, each legal order — a 2018 restraining order and a 2022 stalking prevention order — merely shifted his contact method, from letters to Facebook messages to social media tagging, never stopping him.
