Apple's Everest drama 'Tenzing' to open 22nd Zurich Film Festival

Apple Original Films' 'Tenzing' will open the 22nd Zurich Film Festival on 24 September, Variety reports. The European premiere brings Tom Hiddleston, Willem Dafoe and director Jennifer Peedom to the green carpet. The film dramatises Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary's 1953 first ascent of Mount Everest. Zurich runs 24 September through 4 October 2026; the full programme lands 9 September.
