The Trump administration is weighing the sale of a Kehinde Wiley painting that the US State Department removed from the US Embassy in the Dominican Republic, ARTnews reported on 25 August 2026. The Art in Embassies programme commissioned the work in 2015. No handling agency, ownership status or valuation has been disclosed.
