Nintendo Raises Standalone Switch 2 Price to US$500 on September 1

Nintendo is raising the standalone Switch 2 console price from US$450 to US$500, effective September 1. The increase applies to the base console sold without a packed-in game. Nintendo launched Switch 2 globally on June 5, 2025 at US$449.99. Two new bundles at US$530 and US$550 arrive after the hike, each built around the higher console price.
