Busta Rhymes completes unfinished J Dilla–D'Angelo session as posthumous track 'This Woman'

Busta Rhymes has completed a roughly 20-year-old J Dilla and D'Angelo session as the track "This Woman," per Rolling Stone. D'Angelo's scratch vocal interpolates Sister Nancy's "Bam Bam" over a Dilla beat. Dilla died in 2006; D'Angelo died of pancreatic cancer in 2025. The track appears on Dillagence II, a 19-track album built from nearly 300 unreleased Dilla beats Dilla gave Busta Rhymes before his death. A Hype Williams-directed video is set to premiere at 12 p.m. ET on 25 August.
