Former world champion Graeme Dott convicted of child sex abuse, stripped from Hall of Fame

Graeme Dott, 49, who won the 2006 World Snooker Championship, was convicted on 24 August 2026 at the High Court in Glasgow of two counts of lewd, indecent and libidinous behaviour towards two children aged around 10 in the 1990s. WST removed him from the Hall of Fame the following day. Police Scotland's DI Gary Smillie called Dott a "dangerous individual."
