Carse Dropped from England's Second Test Squad After Derby Nightclub Arrest

England dropped fast bowler Brydon Carse from their squad for the second Test against Pakistan at Lord's starting 27 August, after social-media images showed him handcuffed outside a Derby nightclub on Saturday. Carse was briefly arrested and de-arrested without charge. Sonny Baker replaces him. The ECB has referred the incident to the Cricket Regulator for independent investigation. Captain Joe Root said he was "hacked off" and called the behaviour "stupid mistakes."
