Eight Freddie Mercury costumes to go on display at the V&A, London
Eight costumes worn by Freddie Mercury go on display at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London from 24 October to 17 January 2027. The free trail, "Splendid Things," includes the outfit from Queen's 1973 debut album cover and a catsuit designed by Wendy de Smet for the 1975–76 tour. It was developed with Mary Austin, Mercury's former fiancée and long-time guardian of his collection.
