Bristol sign Leicester title-winner Harry Wells on three-month injury-cover deal

Bristol Bears have signed former Leicester Tigers lock Harry Wells, 32, on a three-month deal from fourth-tier Oundle RFC. Director of rugby Pat Lam moved to bolster the back five of the scrum, with Josh Caulfield, Bill Mata and Khalik Kareem still returning from injury ahead of the new Premiership season. Wells made 236 Leicester appearances and won the 2022 Premiership title.
