Berlin designer's colour-pattern shirt defeats AI surveillance cameras
Berlin designer Simon Weckert has created "Digital Camouflage," a shirt whose AI-generated bright patterns prevent AI-powered object-detection systems from recognising the wearer as a person. Weckert refined the pattern through an "adversarial loop" of trial and error against detection software, according to Dezeen. The shirt responds to a Berlin police AI-surveillance pilot launched at Kottbusser Tor in August 2026.
