Netflix to push Lee Chang-dong's 'Possible Love' for best picture at the 99th Academy Awards

South Korea has selected Lee Chang-dong's 'Possible Love,' his first feature in eight years, as its Oscar international feature entry. A Netflix awards team is also preparing a best picture campaign, Variety reports. The film premieres at Venice, screens at Toronto, opens Korean cinemas September 23, and streams globally on Netflix November 6. The 99th Academy Awards are set for March 14, 2027.
