Clooney and Burstyn to share Venice's Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at 83rd edition

George Clooney, 65, and Ellen Burstyn, 93, will both receive the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the 83rd Venice Film Festival, running 2–12 September 2026 on the Lido di Venezia. Clooney gives his masterclass on 3 September at 4 p.m.; Burstyn follows on 8 September at 4 p.m. Sessions will be livestreamed on labiennale.org (Variety, 25 August 2026).
