ARIA becomes first national chart body to ban fully AI-generated recordings

ARIA has barred wholly AI-generated recordings from the ARIA Charts, making it the first national chart body to do so. The rules take effect from the chart dated 31 August. Recordings that use AI in a supporting role remain eligible if "substantially human-made." Ineligible tracks can be removed, have accreditations withdrawn, and be barred from the ARIA Awards.
