Former Pussy Riot member says FSB offered her $36,000 to lure Pyotr Verzilov for kidnap and killing

Rita Flores, a former Pussy Riot member whose real name is Margarita Konovalova, said in a YouTube interview published 24 August 2026 that Russia's FSB offered her up to 3 million rubles (about US$36,000) to lure founding Pussy Riot member Pyotr Verzilov to Serbia, where Russian agents planned to kidnap and kill him. Verzilov has been designated a terrorist in Russia for joining Ukraine's military. The FSB has not responded; the claims are unverified.
