Oklahoma GOP Governor Runoff Tied as Aluminum Smelter Project Divides Party

A poll shows a statistical dead heat in Oklahoma's August 25 Republican governor runoff. A proposed $4 billion Emirates Global Aluminium smelter in Inola has split the party. Attorney General Gentner Drummond filed to halt construction; former state Sen. Mike Mazzei supports it. President Trump called Drummond a "fake Republican" on August 18.
