KATSEYE Hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 — Then Two Members Went on Hiatus

KATSEYE's EP "WILD" reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the main US album chart, with Hot 100 tracks "Pinky Up" and "Animal." Leader Sophia Laforteza began a mental-health hiatus on Aug. 7, HYBE and Geffen confirmed, with reassessment expected in September. Manon Bannerman stepped away in February. Two of six members are now inactive.
