New York's Chinatown 'jailscraper' would be world's tallest correctional facility

A 335-foot (102-metre), 13-floor jail designed by HOK is under construction at 125 White Street in New York City's Chinatown. Renders from the NYC Department of Design and Construction put it on track to be the tallest correctional facility in the world. It is one of four borough-based jails meant to replace Rikers Island. Completion is slated for 2032, per Dezeen.
