Johnston ruled out until October as scan confirms new Celtic injury blow

Celtic right-back Alistair Johnston faces another lay-off until October after a scan confirmed a new injury, manager Martin O'Neill confirmed. The 27-year-old went off at half-time against Kilmarnock and missed most of last season with a hamstring problem. O'Neill said the defensive area needs strengthening before the 3 September transfer deadline.
