Sunderland sign 20-year-old midfielder Ahoka from Royal Antwerp for £8.6m

Sunderland have signed 20-year-old midfielder Jules Ahoka from Royal Antwerp for €10m (£8.6m) on a long-term contract. The DR Congo youth international had played in both of Antwerp's league matches this season. He is Sunderland's third summer arrival after Thomas Meunier and Dayann Methalie. Director of football Florent Ghisolfi said the club had been tracking Ahoka closely and believes he has "huge potential."
