49ers Owner Jed York Pleads No Contest to Criminal Charges After Ohio Arrest

49ers owner and CEO Jed York pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools after his August 23, 2026 arrest at an East Palestine, Ohio trailer park. The Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force was involved. York was initially booked on suspicion of engaging prostitution. He served one day in jail, paid $1,150, and was released. The NFL personal conduct policy gives Commissioner Roger Goodell authority to investigate regardless of the criminal outcome. The 49ers have not commented.
