Bemand names seven uncapped players in Ireland women's WXV squad

Ireland women's head coach Scott Bemand has named seven uncapped players in his 36-strong squad for the WXV Global Series. Second row Kate Jordan and centre Lucia Linn receive their first Ireland call-ups. The other five — Adams Verling, Barrett, Buttimer, Finn and McInerney — were in the wider Six Nations panel earlier this year. Ireland open against the USA at Tallaght Stadium on 20 September.
