CD Projekt Red announced a new expansion for The Witcher 3, titled "Songs of the Past," starring Geralt of Rivia. The expansion gives players a return to the character who led the original trilogy (2007–2015). Meanwhile, The Witcher 4 — targeting a 2028 release with over 500 developers — will feature Ciri as its protagonist, replacing Geralt as the series lead.
