Court orders Chris Brown's tour revenue diverted to housekeeper injured by his dog

Cotton ordered that "all present and future nonexempt rights to payment" owed to Chris Brown be assigned to former housekeeper Maria Avila, who won a $12.9 million verdict in June after Brown's dog mauled her in 2020. The ruling targets Brown's revenue from the R&B Tour with Usher, which grossed over $115 million from 16 shows by 1 August, per Billboard Boxscore. Avila's attorneys said Brown had made no effort to satisfy the judgment. Brown is seeking to overturn the verdict.
