Alvarez booed and walks off alone as Atlético fans turn on wantaway forward

Julian Alvarez was booed throughout Atlético Madrid's 2-2 draw with Villarreal on 23 August — at warm-up, when he came on, and as he left. He walked down the tunnel alone while teammates applauded supporters. Alvarez wants to join Barcelona; Atlético refuse to sell. Goalkeeper Jan Oblak said: "Unhappily, this situation isn't comfortable for anyone."
