Prince Harry leaves African Parks board after charity acknowledged ranger abuses

Prince Harry has stepped down from the board of African Parks, the wildlife charity he served for ten years. The departure follows African Parks' May 2025 acknowledgement that "in some incidents human rights abuses have occurred." Survival International alleged rangers committed rape and torture against Indigenous people in the Republic of the Congo. The charity said it "deeply regrets the pain and suffering caused to victims."
