Mike Leigh says 'Tender Loving Care' is likely his last film, citing autoimmune illness

The Guardian reports Leigh manages myositis, an autoimmune disease affecting the muscles. Bleecker Street releases the film theatrically on December 4, 2026, after stops at TIFF, the New York Film Festival and San Sebastián's main competition.
