Visma manager Plugge accuses UCI of inaction after Tarling death

Visma-Lease a Bike manager Richard Plugge told Wielerflits that neither UCI president David Lappartient nor anyone in the sport has proposed concrete safety measures since 19-year-old Finlay Tarling died on 15 August at the Volta a Portugal. Tarling collided with a non-race vehicle that entered the route despite a road closure. The UCI said it will not comment further while investigations continue.
