Television Guitarist Richard Lloyd Launches Cancer Treatment Fundraiser After Sepsis and ICU Stays

Television co-founding guitarist Richard Lloyd was diagnosed with bile duct cancer in March 2026. Since then he has survived two bouts of sepsis and made seven ICU visits, bandmate Sean Seymour wrote on a GoFundMe page launched 22 August 2026. Multiple liver tumours make surgery unsafe. Lloyd cannot tour; his wife is his full-time caregiver. He has asked for donations toward treatment costs.
