Herzog's 'Bucking Fastard' to world-premiere in Venice competition

Werner Herzog's "Bucking Fastard" will have its world premiere in the main competition for the Golden Lion at the 83rd Venice Film Festival, running 2–12 September 2026. The 109-minute Ireland–US co-production stars Orlando Bloom, Kate and Rooney Mara as twin sisters, and Domhnall Gleeson. Herzog will also receive the Donostia Award at San Sebastian, per the festival.
