Hideo Kojima turned 63 on 24 August 2026 and said he is not retiring. In a post on X, the designer wrote: "While I continue to receive various opportunities and offers, I would like to remain focused on creating games." Kojima Productions is developing OD, a horror game, and Physint, a stealth-action title.
