Gaza Documentary NAZA Added to Venice Golden Lion Competition

Venice has added NAZA, a documentary on Israel's bombing of Gaza, to its 83rd festival's Golden Lion competition — the sole nonfiction film in the main slate. Directed by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, Oscar winners for No Other Land, and executive produced by Jonathan Glazer, NAZA premieres 10 September 2026. The Guardian produced the film, which screens as a late addition to the lineup.
