Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon nearly halve average subscription price hikes

Ampere Analysis, reported by Deadline on 24 August 2026, found the three platforms cut average price increases from 24% per subscription in 2023/24 to 14% in 2025/26 — a drop from $1.67 to $1.54 per month. Ampere attributes the shift to maturing, saturated markets approaching the limit of what consumers will pay.
