Yamashita wins CPKC Women's Open by nine, ties LPGA 72-hole scoring record of 257

Miyu Yamashita closed with a four-under 66 at Royal Mayfair in Edmonton to win the CPKC Women's Open by nine strokes. Her 23-under-par 257 total matched Kim Sei-young's LPGA Tour 72-hole record from 2018. The 25-year-old Japanese player led wire-to-wire and sealed the record with an eight-foot birdie on the 18th. Yuri Yoshida finished second at 14 under.
