Taheri and Hadžija debut feature to world-premiere in Venice Days on September 3

Hoda Taheri and Boris Hadžija's debut feature "I Plant My Hand in the Garden" will world-premiere on 3 September in the Venice Days competition at the 2026 Venice Film Festival, per The Hollywood Reporter (24 August). The 83-minute fiction film stars both co-directors as characters sharing their names: an Iranian refugee and a queer Serbian man who decide to marry. Square Eyes handles world sales.
