Ruffalo rejects Paramount Skydance's antisemitism accusation over $111bn merger campaign

Mark Ruffalo on 22 August 2026 rejected Paramount Skydance's claim that his campaign against its $111bn Warner Bros. Discovery merger invoked antisemitic tropes, calling the allegation "appalling" (The Guardian, 24 August 2026). Ruffalo stated: "Criticizing the actions of the Israeli prime minister, a military technology contract, or the executives who supply it is not the same as criticizing Jewish people." ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt separately urged Ruffalo to argue the merger on its merits.
