Shelley Fabares, Star of 'The Donna Reed Show' and 'Coach,' Dies at 82

Shelley Fabares, who played Mary Stone on ABC's 'The Donna Reed Show' (1958–66) and Christine Armstrong on 'Coach' for eight seasons, died on 23 August 2026 in Los Angeles at 82. Her family announced the death. She is survived by her husband, M*A*S*H actor Mike Farrell, whom she married in 1984.
