Britain's Matt Brennan wins first Grand Tour stage on Vuelta debut

Matt Brennan, 22, won stage two of the 2026 Vuelta a España in a bunch sprint in Manosque, beating Pau Miquel and Tadej Pogacar. The 214.3km stage from Monaco packed over 3,000m of climbing, yet the peloton regrouped for a sprint. Brennan, in his first Grand Tour, took his first stage win. Pogacar retained the red jersey, leading by nine seconds.
