Fan-owned Greenock Morton rocked by sponsor cuts, investor exit, chairman and manager departures in one year

Five years into community ownership, Greenock Morton face a cash-flow crunch. Sponsor Dalrada reduced payments after committing £780,000 total. Investor group Estrella withdrew a £750,000 bid for 35%, citing financial and on-pitch decline. Chairman John Laird stepped down in December, manager Dougie Imrie departed, and volunteer directors resigned. General manager Mark Kelly told BBC Scotland November would be "a bit tight."
